Two New Campaigns

23 June 2008 – 8:17 am

Contrast the two. Today a survey is out from the Yorkshire Bank about summer festivals. I find the fit strange, The Yorkshire Bank has had a relatively low profile since it became part of an Australian group a few years ago. To my knowledge it is not particularly music, or, youth oriented… so why the survey ? Did a PR think this was a quick way to get some publicity…

Bournville chocolate on the other hand has a simple press campaign running, which is very ‘on brand’. Focusing on its very Englishness and harking back to the comic book imagery of the 1950s. Refreshing to see a campaign that is not over clever, but works.
