The real proliferation of technology is when it is no longer noticed by the target or user. It is so ubiquitous in everyday life, it goes unnoticed, seamless. Over the last 24 months, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest have done very well at intertwining themselves in the commercial and consumer world. Many adverts and shops fronts now boast online credentials, this is nothing new, but is a growing phenomena which has crept up on the shopper.
