New Kuga from Ford

Ford’s latest campaign is doing the rounds. New Kuga is very ‘voguey’. Frames, squiggles and tear offs are in. See where the brand is trying to go, but not sure if Ford has the credentials to push itself as the trendy alternative manufacturer. Maybe this is part of their problem, getting away from their blue collar heartland. Recognition for the campaign by the marketing media has not been exceptional, whereas the business pages like to comb backwards and forwards over the giant they perceive has gone wrong. Company performance does not seem to be affecting their marketing spend too much. London Bridge Underground was recently wrapped in ads for the New Kuga, and there has been press work as well. 9/10 for trying.
