Today I have been with the capable Adrian, professional driver trainer at the Land Rover Experience situated in the Yorkshire Dales near Skipton. This is our third encounter. I knew the new Range Rover Evoque would be good on and off-road, Land Rovers are, but it far exceeded expectations. This car is a winner. It looks great inside and out. Featuring fun classy touches, such as an Evoque logo cast by the door mirror puddle lights, a tailgate which can open automatically to an owner’s pre-set height, a decent sound system from Cambridge based Meridian, and a good looking, easy to use satnav/entertainment console. The latter showing two different screens simultaneously to the passenger and driver, for example a map route and a TV show, on the same two view screen, at the same time, high-tech.

Having now driven a few Evoques, there is little to fault on this luxury urbane cruiser. If you are looking for something different which can carry a decent load in comfort, the Evoque has to be somewhere near the top of your list.

  1. One Response to “More than a pretty face”

  2. Glad to see that the stylish new addition to the Land Rover has the off road credentials to match it’s stylish looks. It would appear that the build quality continues to be consistent throughout the range. I am looking forward to having a more detailed look at one shortly!
