Goodwood Revival 2012

17 September 2012 – 8:44 am

The Earl of March’s Goodwood Revival continues to go from strength to strength. Held annually in September at a former WWII airbase on the March family estate Goodwood; located near Chichester with views of the south downs and onwards to the UK coast.

The weekend is usually a sell out, and this year was busier than ever, with even the first day of the event, the Friday, hitting capacity before the early morning opening.

With tweaks and additions prominent to make the Revival feel new, different and relevant, employed actors added a fun twist to proceedings, there were faux film stars, excited children and eager car salesmen, complete in double breasted suits of the day.

The fusion of historic cars, planes, dress and music from the 1940s-60s era, ensured yet again, wide media coverage and public interest ensued.
